While many spy car forums and bloggers are dubbing this vehicle the X5 M, we have some inside information that suggests that this will be the equivalent of what the 4.8is was to the previous generation of X5’s – the ultimate in power and handling throughout the X5 model line.

Spied! 1 Series Cabriolet
BMW hopes that the 1-Series coupe along with the introduction of a convertible variant in North America will boost the 1-Series range past the half million mark. The BMW 1-Series coupe arrives in April of 2008 followed by the 135i convertible which will be available in SE and M Sport trim levels.
Back from the grave – The M3 Sedan
Absent for the past ten years, BMW’s M3 sedan has been caught testing — denuded and free from any masking — over at M3Post.com, revealing the details of BMW’s compact sport-sedan revival. MINI Clubman brings back the suicide door!

Hybrid Technologies, emerging leaders in the development and marketing of lithium-powered products, said today that it has moved into production with the BMW AG Mini Cooper all lithium model. After two years of reasearch and an extensive vehicle selection process, Hybrid Technologies engineers selected the Mini Cooper built in Cowley, England.

Their video review gives you a great idea of the dynamics of the new car, and the burble of the new 4.0L V8 at full tilt is enough to make your hair stand on end. While we wait for the official specs on the Canadian bound BMW 1-Series Coupe, UK just got theirs yesterday. Honestly, we have to move on from always comapring every green car to the Toyota Prius. Our favorite part of the UK specs on the 1-Series Coupe is the 123d and 120d which both get 54.3 and 58.9 mpg respectively.
