Knowledge is power! Women need to understand their cars better so they don’t feel intimidated. On Saturday, November 24th from 9:30 – 3:30 pm we will be hosting a Women’s Car Care Clinic right here at our dealership. There will be a morning session from 9:30 until 12:00, and then a repeat afternoon session from 1:00 to 3:30.

Many things will be covered:

  •     various fluids of a vehicle, both clean and dirty
  •     oil filters cut open and examined as well as air filters: clean and dirty
  •     a car would be on a hoist so the undercarriage could be examined
  •     how to check tire pressures
  •     emergency road side kit contents
  •     and much more…including prizes!

This event is being led by Kelly Williams – who has driven race cars for over 15 years, beginning at the tender age of 17. After graduating from teacher’s college at the University of Toronto in 1994, she decided to devote all of her energy to a racing career.

Today, Williams travels around the world with the Champcar Series as a Pace Car Driver. She provides VIP tours of the Champcar circuits in one of the pace car team’s dynamic sports cars or acts as the official pace car driver. Williams also uses her training in education to teach advanced driving skills for various vehicle manufacturers with a strong focus on safe driving techniques.
