What a wonderful weekend we had up in Collingwood! The first ever MINI Escape saw 50 MINI enthusiasts (staff and customers) from MINI Oakville band together and make the trek up to Blue Mountain Village. We wound our way up the backroads for the better part of Saturday, forging on through dark skies and cool weather. What a site to behold – over 30 unique MINIs traveling in a convoy certainly turned some heads as we passed by.

The first stop on the journey was Spirit Tree Estate Cidery where we were treated to a tour of the orchard, brick bread over, press room, and finally a sampling of their delicious ciders. Next, we spent some time at a MINI putt course with our MINIs (ha ha) as participants competed for prizes on the course. After that, and after winding our way along some delightfully twisty backroads, we found ourselves in Creemore Village where we got a tour of the brewery and the BEST fish & chips lunch in the world at the Old Mill Pub. Many thanks to the owner Carol for having us. Once lunch was done we stopped in at the Burton VIP showroom where we were given some fantastic discounts on clothing and snowboard gear coming out next year. Thanks Burton!

Our final stop was the Westin Trillium House at the foot of the Blue Mountains where we relaxed and had some down time before meeting for a delicious dinner at Tholos Greek restaurant. After we all headed to the bar to witness some of the Oktoberfest fun. Many thanks to all of you who joined us – it was great meeting you all, and we hope to see you all next time around!
